Our 2023 Retreat will took place on the lovely and peaceful grounds of Ferncliff Camp and Conference Center in central Arkansas. Ferncliff is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located ten miles west of Little Rock, Arkansas. Ferncliff was founded in 1937 as a place for youth and adults to gather and experience creation and community with each other.
The heart and soul of Ferncliff is their summer camp programs, but their comfortable lodgings, excellent food options, and amazing natural surroundings make it especially perfect for an autumnal retreat such as ours!
Included with everyone’s registration is:
– A full weekend of programming, including nature walks, guided meditation, guided journaling, yoga, sound healing, campfire community time each night, and lots of time to chill with fellow participants.
– All meals will be served at Ferncliff’s cafeteria, where they prepare healthy and high quality meals for folks with all food needs and preferences. Special attention is given to offerings for those who are gluten sensitive and vegan/vegetarian. (If you have further nutrition questions, we definitely understand and want to help with anything you need.)
Differences in cost relate to the four lodging options, explained below. You can also peruse the pictures above to view the inside of our lodging rooms as well as the nurturing landscape that will surround us at Ferncliff. (And as a bonus, please allow yourself to imagine the trees with the gorgeous fall colors of Arkansas in October!)
Single Room in Sycamore House
Our most expensive ticket is $425, and pays for two nights in a private room in the hotel style lodge known as Sycamore House, or The Brown Center. Each room has two double beds with Tempurpedic mattresses, and a private bathroom with a shower. All linens and towels provided; climate controlled; free WiFi.
Shared Double Room in Sycamore House
Our second option is $350, which pays for two nights in Sycamore House, with one roommate. Each room has two double beds with Tempurpedic mattresses, and a bathroom with a shower. All linens and towels will be provided; climate controlled; free WiFi. This is an extremely comfortable option for attending the retreat with a loved one, and you can let us know who you’d like your roommate to be when you register.
Shared Triple Room in Williams Lodge
The third option is $275 and allows you to stay two nights in Williams Lodge, which is where our indoor meeting space is also located. Williams Lodge sits on the edge of Belden Pond, with two large decks overlooking the beautiful water. The upper level contains three large meeting spaces, including one of the decks. The lower level of Williams has eight rooms, and each room has three twin beds with Tempurpedic mattresses, and a bathroom with a shower. Towels and linens provided; climate controlled; free WiFi. If you and a couple friends want to attend and are comfortable sharing a room, this is our most affordable option that still allows for indoor sleeping.
PEASE NOTE: If you purchase a roommate ticket ($350 for Sycamore, or $275 for Williams), and you do not have a roommate in mind, we will communicate openly with you about roommate options and collaborate together for optimal comfort for everyone.
Wild Camping
Our lowest cost ticket is $195 and is our Wild Camping ticket. Ferncliff doesn’t allow open air camping on their campground, but we will have access to several acres of private land just a few minutes’ drive from the camp. We will provide shuttle service each evening and morning, and your meals will be provided at Ferncliff with the other attendees. No water or electrical hook ups are available, and the campground is on the safe and privately-owned land of beloved members of the local LGBTQ+ community.
If you live in central Arkansas and want to sleep at home, but still attend the retreat, the purchase of a Wild Camping ticket will allow you to do so.

“I want to think again of dangerous and noble things.
I want to be light and frolicsome.
I want to be improbable beautiful and afraid of nothing,
as though I had wings.”
